A good overview of Roman cultural history
may also be gained on the Römer-Rundweg (Roman
circular path) in the administrative district of Bad
Dürkheim, the stations of which include a Roman
vineyard, several ancient villas and the Kriemhildenstuhl stone quarry. More than 100 Roman places of interests
altogether may be admired along the Straße der
Römer (Avenue of the Romans) in the Moselle-Saar,
Eifel, Hunsrück, Saarland und Luxembourgian Moselle
region.
In the Römerhalle (Roman Hall) in Bad Kreuznach,
several Roman Age findings are exhibited. Two splendid
mosaics of 60 square metres each, the gladiator and
the Oceanus mosaic, are witnesses of a once luxury
palace.
