For many of them the festival is their first performance in-front of a large crowd, which does not say anything about the quality of the music. So you are given the opportunity to get to know some up- coming bands that will perhaps make it big some day. As well as music; entertainment, theatre, and social comment have their place in this festival.

In Worms the jazzfestival Jazzfestival Jazz & Joy takes place in July and features more than 40 international bands and artists. Stars such as Joe Cocker and Al Jarreau have graced the stage at this festival. Whatever your bag, soul, blues or jazz there is something for all ages and tastes.
