The night of magical fire

Between Trechtingshausen, Assmannshausen, Bingen and Rüdesheim seven firework displays light up the sky on the first Saturday in July.

A fleet of over 50 tour boats drift down the Rhine as fires lit on both shores illuminate their castles, towers and churches. The giant Niederwald-monument is also illuminated and watches expectantly over Rüdesheim, the scene of the night’s grand firework finale.
