Hang-glider and Paraglider
The aviation clubs in Rhineland-Palatinate are always happy to welcome newcomers. Some clubs even offer low-priced tandem flights for trial, e.g. the Drachenflieger Club Trier. The Moselfalken are a very active organization, arranging among other things the Mosel-Open. But also the Drachen- und Gleitschirmfliegerfreunde Rhein-Mosel-Lahn are a rather big club with members from the Koblenz, Taunus, Westerwald, Hunsrueck and Eifel region; they offer many information and pictures about their sport on their website. Ballooning
The Freiballon Sportfreunde Harxheim/Mainz 1983 take part in many national and international events, together with the Freiballon-Sportschule. More information can be received from the Deutscher Freiballonsport-Verband.
