The Rhine-river also boasts an annual car-free-sunday Tal Total. The B9 and B42 are close to cars between Koblenz/Lahnstein and Bingen/Rüdesheim. Instead of motorists you will find bikers, hikers, party-makers and events from village tours to jazz concerts.

"Happy Mosel"

On the sunday following Whitsun the Moseltal (Mosel-valley) between Schweich and Cochem is transformed into a car-free-zone. Bicycles are the recommended mode of transport. To add to this two wheeled experience each village offers its own selection of wine and culture making this a perfect time to saddle up and experience the Mosel by bike.
