Walking along the Eifelsteig one slips into the idyllic woodlands of the Nordeifel. This circuit, which stretches over 86 kilometer, begins and ends in Blankenheim.

In the Pfälzerwald nature park, one can experience much diversity over a short distance. Bizarre cliffs, dense forests, lakes and castles are peppered along this pathway in the Dahner Felsland. Those who would like to experience more about nature and ecology should stop off at the Biosphärenhaus or the Gaytalpark near the border with Luxemburg.
